Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

This passage reminds each of us that we should put for an effort. If we live a half-hearted life toward God, and put forth a mediocre effort to serve and trust in Him, the life that we live as a Christian will be shallow, and dull. However, if we seek Him with our whole heart, and we show the world that come-what-may we are going to stick with the stuff and serve God, we will see fruit for our labors, and will experience the blessings of God on our ministries and lives.
