This is the day. for 8/12

Exodus 4:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. This passage is a sad one.  The heart of Pharaoh was hardened.  God's judgment was certain on Egypt, and God was planning to plague that great land, and basically destroy all of its wealth, and its great army.  Anyone who knows the story should know that Pharaoh should have been so affected by the plagues that he should have changed his attitude toward God, but he decided to resist God, and God allowed His heart to get harder, and harder.  Pharaoh's wealth was destroyed, and his nation was destroyed because he would not give in to God.  How sad it is to see so many people in this same basic condition in the day in which we live.  Why don't they understand that God is in control, and that He is the only way to true happiness.
