This is the day.

Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Sometimes we seem to think that what others are doing is insignificant. We look at people and say, "That project really doesn't look too important." Some of the things aroud the church, or in the ministry seem to be "small" things that have no real value. God has a task for each of us, He expects us to carry out our task with diligence. Next time you think what you are doing, or what someone else is doing for the Lord's service and glory is small, remember that nothing done for Him will be forgotten.

Some people who did "small" things in the Bible.
I. Noah. He just built a boat.
II. A widow. She gave Elijah a small meal.
III. An Israelite maid. She told Naaman about a prophet.
IV. Nehemiah. He just built a wall.
V. Jonah. He just preached a short sermon.
VI. A lad in the Gospels. He only gave two fish and five loaves.
VII. Some servants of Jesus. They only gave a cup of water.
